History of George's Port Bar

The Original Port Bar was founded in 1956 in 1982 it became George's Port Bar & Pizzeria. Having spent several years in NYC - needless to say George's Pizza's were the best! The best times were pre-karaoke when George & others would sing accompanied by the piano player, whoever chose to play.

The Original Port Bar had an extensive beer can collection from around the world. So much went on at the Port Bar in those days that the police leveled it & built a new station & jail.

Relocated in 1993 to Gulf Blvd the Port Bar remains the locals choice, it's not 4 walls & a Keg that makes the Port Bar what it is but rather it's owner & the many patrons from all walks of life from all over the world.
